Branches
Harley Street, Medical Excellence
Harley Street, a short walk from The BoTree, is synonymous with medical excellence. Branches looks into its evolution from fashionable residential neighbourhood to byword for reassurance in medical procedures.
Branches finds it hard to imagine now but at the beginning of the 18th century, Marylebone was a small village on the outskirts of London. In fact, as you can see from the 18th-century map, The BoTree pretty much marks the end of London and the beginning of the countryside. The estate, which now forms a large part of Marylebone, was owned by Edward Harley, the 2nd Earl of Oxford.
The BoTree’s location around the corner from Harley Street makes it the perfect spot to convalesce. Whilst medical excellence isn’t something that The BoTree can claim, excellence in hospitality makes it very much aligned with Harley Street. Branches will definitely eye up some ‘me time’ at The BoTree should the need to visit Harley Street ever arise.
