Concierge service at our luxury hotel in London
The key to making things special
WHO TO ASK?
Concierge or Host
Luxury in a hotel means different things to different people. For some, luxury is 600 thread Egyptian linen. For others, it’s the space a suite affords you. One thing that unites everyone’s perception of luxury is personal service.
Our hosts excel at the personal touch. From the moment you walk in, to waving you off in a taxi, your host is on hand at all times of day and night to be the first-name-terms friend you need.
No request is too small, no favour too big. Our hosts are your personal connection to The BoTree.
Our Concierges are easy to spot in the lobby. Some of them even have the crossed golden keys on the lapel of their sharp blue suits. The golden keys show they are members of a society that is affiliated to the Union Internationale des Concierges d’Hotels – Les Clefs d’Or®. A globally connected not-for-profit organisation based on two pillars: Service and Friendship. Their reach and ability is legendary. Our concierges are your connection to the city.
ASSISTANT, CONFIDANT AND FRIENDLY FACE
What is a Host?
In some ways, they’re a bit like a butler. Your personal connection to The BoTree. They are the face you recognise, the person who remembers what you asked for last time, the panic speed dial when you realise you forgot your smart work shirt or little black dress. They are the person you’ll look forward to seeing next time you stay.
And during your stay, there’s not much they won’t know the answer to. Need advice for what to wear to Elton John’s white ball? Ask your host. Don’t know what gift to bring on a first date? Ask your host. Want to gather some friends for a private drinks party before your night out in Soho. Ask your host. Dogs need to be groomed? Ask your host. You get the picture. They are a personal assistant, fixer and friendly soundboard all rolled into one.
A GLOBAL OUTLOOK AND A REPUTATION
What is a Concierge?
Our concierges are all members of a special society. They have extremely high standards and, like all members of the society they represent, they are the trusted source of information wherever you are in the world. They’re the ones with the strings to pull, the friends in high places and the inside tips to make your stay that bit more memorable. In a digital world, they are an analogue connection based on a human touch that no app or website can match.
There are less than 300 concierges in Great Britain qualified to wear the Golden Keys lapel pin. If that sounds like a lot, there are over 1,500 hotels in London alone so you won’t find one everywhere you go. You can rely on their integrity, knowledge and genuinely personally-tailored recommendations.
