This 100-hour program is designed for teachers already certified at the 200-hour level and want to progress toward their 500-hour credentials. We will meet one Saturday each month from 11am to 6pm over the course of one year, plus a weekend retreat to complete the hours. Emphasis will be on deepening our understanding of yoga philosophy and anatomy, and on honing teaching skills. This program is limited to 12 participants. 2011-2012 Dates
(all Saturdays): DENNIS
EAGAN, |
"Dennis is is much more than a yoga instructor in my life. His knowledge and the philosophy he emits on the interconnectedness of all beings bring great value that go far beyond any yoga practice. He is one of the most accepting and compassionate people that I have ever learned from, and I am beyond honored to have him as a teacher. The lessons learned under his guidance have honestly changed my outlook on everything." A. W. "I am not the same person I was when I started the teacher-training program. Dennis has taught me that there is so much more to yoga then I ever imagined. I am forever grateful to him!" C. J. "Dennis' extensive knowledge of yoga and positive energy are both powerful. He creates a safe and encouraging environment where practices deepen, and obstacles and perceived discomfort are conquered. His passion for yoga, especially green yoga, is true as is his commitment and love for the environment. I remain forever happy, forever honored and forever changed to be one of his students." R. G. "I really appreciate Dennis’ depth of knowledge of both yoga as a discipline, and of the body's alignment and dynamics. He communicates those things with both clarity and patience to students of all levels, which is a rare quality." K. G. "Dennis Eagan is one of the best teachers I have had in any discipline. Not only does he teach from a deep love of yoga, he brings to teacher training a culture of non-competition, co-operation and curiosity so that learning on the deepest levels can occur. I am truly grateful to have the opportunity to study with him." N. O. "It is apparent that Dennis brings the lessons learned from nature into his yoga practice and to his students. As in the wilderness of nature, Dennis is a steady guide to his students in the yoga studio to help us explore, navigate and be conscious of the wilderness of the spirit, to ultimately help ourselves bring mindfulness to our lives, in the studio and beyond." K. W.
